ZOMG Mrs. Clinton Misspoke!
I just have to write about this… it is unbelievable and it is so in-line with politicians in general, because to be frank I really am starting to dislike all of them. Some of you may have heard about Mrs. Clinton and her “misspoken” memories of when she and her daughter visited Bosnia in 1996. Good ol’ Hillary said “I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” You see, besides completely making that story up, what Hillary fails to also remember is that as a public figure (being the FIRST LADY at the time) she was basically being video tapped 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Here’s a still shot from the video of what actually happened when she and Chelsea landed in Bosnia.
Now, I am not an expert on photo interpretation, nor do I claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but from what I can tell in this photo, nobody is in any real danger except for the little girl who appears to be on the verge of having her face chewed off. The real facts are this, the video reveals that Mrs. Liar calmly walks off the rear ramp of the C-17 with her daughter, both held their hands up and moved very calmly across the tarmac to the welcome party that awaited them. The video then goes on for several minutes with Hillary standing calmly and talking to the welcoming committee before the little girl presents the first lady with a poem that was written for her. Hardly the panic stricken activity one would assume to see if she was being shot at by snipers. If bullets were whistling over her head I would expect to see all the people behind her slipping in the poop that was running down her legs during the mad dash to take cover. I only say that because I guarantee that's what would happen if I was being shot at.
So now the punch line and oh this is rich, I can’t even make shit up that’s this good. When confronted on Monday March 25 about her claim of sniper fire Hil said “I say a lot of things -- millions of words a day -- so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement.” A misstatement? A MISSTATEMENT? No, a misstatement is claiming to have only gotten back $2.00 in change rather than the $2.57 you were owed after buying the Big Mac and then realizing that you put the .57 cents in the wrong pocket and found it when you were doing the wash. THAT’S a misstatement.
So, for those of you who might be going, Wow, Zinsk isn’t being nice to Mrs. Clinton I want to remind you of another famous quote by another famous Clinton, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.” We all know how that turned out don’t we.
